Noel Gallagher insults Taylor Swift beau Matt Healy and 1975

Oasis founder Noel Gallagher called Taylor Swift’s latest boyfriend Matt Healy a “slack-jawed f–kwit” and said The 1975 singer he should dismantle his “sh-t” band.

Gallagher’s comments came after he was asked about Healy’s suggestion that Oasis — “the coolest band in the world” — should reunite.

“Did you hear what Matty Healy of The 1975 said about Oasis a few months ago?” Gallagher was asked during a wild Spin magazine interview published Thursday, to which the 55-year-old rocker replied, “Oh, that f–king slack-jawed f–kwit. What did he say?”

Healey, an apparent Oasis fan, reportedly said Gallagher and his younger brother, Liam, 50, should set aside their long-running feud in honor of the band’s seminal “Definitely Maybe” album about to turn 30 years old.

“He needs to go over how s–t his band is and split up,” Gallagher replied.

While Oasis fans shouldn’t expect new music from the band, Gallagher told Spin he recently came across outtakes from their “Definitely Maybe” session that were mislabeled in the 1990s.

“It turns out they have been with Sony for the last f–king 30 years, mislabeled,” he said. “I found them and there’s some interesting stuff on there. Now, we can sell the album for the fifth time all over again.”

Meanwhile, Liam Gallagher fielded questions about an Oasis reunion on Twitter, claiming his brother “HATES Oasis fans [but] doesn’t mind them buying his records.”

The elder Gallagher’s band High Flying Birds are scheduled to begin the U.S. leg of their tour in June with “special guests.” The 1975, who next perform in the U.K. on Saturday, will surely not be one of them.
