Man, 64, hit by train, killed in Manhattan, NYPD says
A 64-year-old man was struck and killed Thursday night by a subway train in Manhattan, police said.
The man was either lying on the tracks or walking along them when he was hit by a Q train in Midtown at about 11 p.m. inside the station at 7th Ave. and W. 57th St., police said.
It wasn’t clear if he was struck as the train pulled in or left the station.
Police said the man died at the scene.
